Is there ever a time of day you're not drinking?

That was a serious question too.
I know it was.
I will say I'm not a huge late night drinker, tend to get things done earlier and then get on with my night in relative tranquility at home.
Howard County life will do that to you.
I do half my drinking vicariously through you, so keep it up.
I don't drink from the time I wake up, until 12noon. Can't get into it, and enjoy the beer. If I dont go to sleep the night before, morning drinking isn't a problem though. (nothing gets done in the morning)
I'm thankful I don't have that problem BaltimoreMan. Granted it's only on ocassion that I'll have a brew that early, but I distinctly remembering cracking a Corona (yes before my beer geekery days) at 5:45am when we got to the ESPN Gameday set at the Coliseum (USC/Cal 2004). I even remember running into the Baltimore Beer Guy while we were walking down there, I don't think he had a brew in his hand (booo).
Now, aside from early morning USC tailgates, it's becoming more of a regular ocurrance when we hit the pub at 8-9am for Manchester United games.
Yeh not much of a morning drinker either except for tailgating and something like AM soccer games. There's a certain novelty to it though, but I definitely need some heavy food in my stomach or I'm going to have problems (mostly sluggishness) drinking that early.
My general time is 4-7 PM, sneak over to Frisco or maybe even downtown for the early open at Brewer's Art, scoot back home in time for the rest of my evening.
I should have had a beer in my hand for that, it was like a 20 minute walk from Matt's place through a bad neighborhood, Dog's barking at me everywhere at 5 AM. Crazy.
BTW Vick still have her "This Rocket Is A Dud" sign? That continues to amuse.
That is understandable. I have been trying to think of the times I have drank before noon. Maybe visiting a friend at PennState and hitting the tailgate early, but other than that, i cant remember. If I was heading down to Gameday I would probably be carrying a sixpack. If it was at 5:45 AM, I probably would have pretended I stayed up for it, with a short nap (reasoning always makes it better). And I will assume that USC won?
USC always wins :)
That was the epic 2004 Cal game, VERY close, one of the best USC games I've ever been to, inarguably the loudest particularly that four down stand at the very end.
A six pack would have been a good idea. Fortunately Steve and I have a friend who had a tailgate just behind the GameDay set with plenty of beer and food, its a monstrous tailgate setup really, should probably be featured on some TV show its that cool, four TV's showing all the games that day, big camper, another guy brings this huge grill setup and cooks more food than some restaurants do in a day, really fun time.
Oh and yeh I didn't get much sleep that night but it was because I had been staying with a friend who had partied the entire night before. Great time but its always interesting getting about 30 minutes to an hour of total sleep and being slightly hung over before setting forth on a full day of standing around, drinking, getting cooked in the sun, cheering for four hours.
Oh to be in my early 20's again and have the stamina to pull all that off.
And now, at 8:30 on a Friday night, I'm home.
