For the last time, we KNOW what beer LOOKS like, or at least is supposed to look like. How does it TASTE?!?!?!?

Sandy,
I believe BBG is using this as tool to let people know what is on tap and to entice folks get out get one themselves (or an excuse to take a picture of his beer). Personal taste, much like writing, is subjective.

But is a mere sentence or clause describing the taste and flavors--"zestily green American-style hops, an American kick atop a classic British style, the malt lingers on the finish", whatever--too much to ask? I mean, seriously, we have no proof or even allegation that he's actually drinking the stuff; I could just go in and take pictures of other people's drinks, and what does that do?

As you have probably noticed, BBG isn't Draft Magazine or the Beer Advocate reviews section. He's a news source and there are reasons for posting pictures other than for tasting notes purpose. Maybe it's not that hard to post a sentence or two describing a beer but it's not the focus of his postings and obviously a waste of time to him. That is, when he's not just taking pictures of what other people are drinking at bars....
