Firkin Thursday and Friday

Frisco Grille will have Flying Dog's Gonzo Imperial Porter on the bar tonight and it will be full pours (16oz) as opposed to the chalices.

At Max's they'll have Lagunitas Hop Stoopid, Brew Dog Paradox Smokehead, Brew Dog Paradox Springbank and JW Lees Harvest Ale (on the bar).

At Metropolitan they'll have the last Troegs Nugget Nectar firkin of the season!

And on Friday a special firkin from Stillwater Ales, their Stateside Saison at Alonso's!

DuClaw is contributing two of their own: a Cinnamon Vanilla Sawtooth at all three locations and an etra Peppermint Infused Imperial Chocolate Rye Porter (tapped after the Sawtooth is finished) at the Arundel Mills location.

As reported here, Frisco Grille will put Pratt Street Ale House's brand new Three Spires Ale on firkin tonight starting at 4 PM. Already on hand pump is Flying Dog's hopalicious Doggie Style Pale Ale which tastes amazing right now.

Federal Hill's Metropolitan Coffeehouse is tapping their 100th firkin and will have Pratt Street's brand new Bier De Garde, created with a Belgian ale yeast (we don't see that too often from PSAH).

And at the great Max's: Burton Bridge Bramble Stout, North Coast Red Seal and Arcadia London Porter (dry hopped) starting at 6 PM.

Frisco Grille in Columbia: the brand new, only one in Maryland Pratt Street Ale House Ironman Strongman ("loads more hops! says Oliver Ale brewer Stephen Jones) Pale Ale dry hopped with Maryland Chinook hops, and on the beer engine, the brand new stupidly delicious Bishop's Indulgence from Pratt Street. It is a chocolate stout brewed with cocoa nibs and vanilla beans.

Frisco's Oliver also tells me that about half his taps right now are stronger beers, so if you're a big beer fan come on down and (responsibly) enjoy.

Metropolitan Coffeehouse in Federal Hill: They'll have the Bishop's Indulgence as well.

Frisco Grille's fun officially starts at 4 PM, Metropolitan at 6 PM.

Flying Dog and Frisco Grille Items

In addition to the information posted below, I thought I'd make this its own post.

Flying Dog will be the featured brewery at Frisco Grille's (Columbia MD) "Pint Night" this Wednesday. It will be the restaurant debut of Flying Dog's secretive but awesome new limited availability Coffee Stout (!) as well as the 2010 Frisco Grille debut of Garde Dog, one of my favorite beers anywhere.

I'm a huge fan of both beers so there's more than a little excitement in writing this. Pint Night starts at 7 PM, basically the first purchase of a featured brewery's beer nets you (while supplies last) a free pint or other glassware item from that brewery.

Also on tap that night will be Flying Dog's Snake Dog IPA and In-Heat Wheat Hefeweizen.

There will be bonus Flying Dog action on Firkin Thursday (starting at 4 PM) as they'll have a bartop firkin of Flying Dog's Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale to enjoy.
